Drop Deck Wideners

A Drop Deck Widener is an open top semi-trailer. Made with a fixed top deck level and a widening bottom deck level, which can travel closed or open to accommodate oversize freight such as large agriculture or trucking equipment.

Wideners are most commonly built with hydraulic rear ramps in a single ramp, dual ramp or bi-folding ramp configuration.

Specifications of a Widener:

·         Decks widen up to 4 metres,

·         Supplied with single, bi-fold or heavy-duty ramps if required for transporting vehicles, and

·         Neck ramp to the top deck.

Best used loads including:

·         Machinery transport, headers and excavators,

·         Hay, straw and cotton bales,
